I'm having the same problem bro. My car is actually in the shop ass we speak and they are going to call me and tell me what the problem is. I drop from 16.5psi to 5psi as well. and there is no power, its misfiring on all cylinders and the car is sooooo sluggish. So keep looking on here and ill let you know what they tell me so you can track it down.

No loss in power: Boost Gauge. (Known to go out in these cars frequently). I switched to a manual boost gauge for $29.99 from a local autoparts store. Just need to splice the vacuum line after the intake manifold and before the cut-off valve. There are multiple choices for routing the line to the gauge. Or, you could pay a good deal of money for a new electronic gauge.

I believe if the cut-off valve was busted or you had a vacuum leak, you would get spotty power and/or periods of no boost (noticeable loss in power at WOT).

wait a second, your stock and getting 20 psi???? are you sure youre not just getting the vacuum and boost mixed up? because im stock and I definitely don't get anywhere near 20 psi of boost.
