Identify this part?

Hey guys, I have no idea what happened or how it happened but this hose snapped off the Air Intake Piping.. Not sure what to do and idk what that hose even does. I have the Haynes repair manual and I couldn't find it in the book, granted I didn't know what I was looking for.

Can anyone identify this part? If so, how do I fix it for now until I buy my Injen Air Intake?.. Help is much appreciated I really don't want to take to dealer and be ripped off.

You need a new intake tube, its a breather vent.

Couldn't possibly be the flux capacitor, I did not upgrade the fuel system to run on organic material.

So I don't need to buy another vent either? I can just pull the tube that is wedged inside right out of the vent hose? Or do I need another hose too?

Well JB weld will work but later on I am going to replace the intake with an Injen so I'm not sure how that will help me in the future lol.

So it doesn't cause any performance issues? Cause my car seems to be running lean :/ and when I put the breather back up to the pipe it "seems" to run fine.

Its running lean because that hole is sucking in air after the MAF so the computer doesn't know it's there. When you put the breather back to that hole, it stops the vacuum leak so it will return to normal running.

Basically. I looked at the thread before but there is a hose stuck inside the breather tube and I can't seem to get it out for whatever reason. I manged to do a shitty job and tape it but when i drive the car sounds too quiet. And when I'm in second at or around 3k rpm the boost gauge stays at 0. Idk what it could be at this point..

Just buy an aftermarket intake throw it on and be done with it, the piece inside the hose should just pull out, it's held in with a lil clip u gotta pull up tho

Yeah once I get access to my bank account (thanks hackers you're ******* awesome), I will buy it, but it still worries me that the car is quieter than normal.. It's as if the Exhaust or turbo isn't making as much noise as it used to? Idk it's really worrying me lol.

Car still seems to quiet, when I'm at idle the gauge sits at 20-23 vac and when I drive I have to give the car a good amount of accel just to get 5psi. At 2nd gear car will be driving at 3krpms and still sit at 0 on the gauge.

Is this normal??

Not sure if worth mentioning but my TPMS was on for a few days, around the same time my car started acting funny. Even though the gauge sits a little higher than 20 vacuum, Is it possible that when the TPMS is activated the car changes the way it runs?

Yeah I definitively noted that. Although I am still not sure if this tiny hole is the root to all my problems :/

What do you mean it's my turbo? Any way I can verify to see if the Turbo is going bad?
