Idler replacement time

http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps3989a61e.jpg

This is what I currently have. It squeaks when cold until up to temperature. I am currently running a 2.9" pulley, and have a 3" if I need it. The car's tune is unknown, and I like the idea of less pulley and quieter car until the car is where I want it and tuned accordingly. Not knowing what the PO did, I want to make sure that this is simply an oversized pulley, and that buying a stock pulley and T50 torx will end the noises.

I understand that the 2.9 will be iffy with what I think is the stock belt, but again, I can't say for sure.

Last, any thoughts on where to buy? It seems to be about $35 at autoparts store and half that online.

What?

If I read correctly, you have a squeaky belt and 2.9" pulley. Just replace the belt with the gm stage 2 and call it good.

I have a aqueaky belt with an oversized tensioner that is making noises. I need to know about suggestions on what stock tensioner to buy, and how to replace. Most of the threads I see regarding the tensioner are just how to compress it.

Can someone confirm whether or not this is an oversized pulley? I will be adding a supercharger spacer soon and want to know if I need to replace it, and also how to replace it. I will be doing the supercharger gasket and a new belt at the same time.
