so, i have a 06 ss/supercharged. i live in los angeles and sit on the 405 everyday in rush hour traffic...fml..anyways, when i sit in traffic, for instinse, i approach the car in front of me going roughly 10mph. well when i come to a stop, my rpm's bog down to 500 or so, then they shooot back up to 1000 then they drop back to 700 then it will finally find the spot and stay at about 900. i cant figure it out. my other problem is on my exhaust before the cat, there is a flange thats connected to the manifold, it kind of looks like a chinese finger trap, and it keeps blowing through and giving me a exhaust leak. so i bought a downpipe with a high flow cat and it has a re-inforced flange that supposidly would fix the problem, well that piece is about to blow through and i dont have anymore ideas. if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

same **** happend to me still waitin to weld in the new flexpipe

 

Mine would have that same bouning idle but only with the AC on. Clean your throttle body ( use throttle body cleaner, not carb cleaner) and that should fix ur Idle

 

when i just had my full exhaust (header/dp/exhaust) & tune or maybe even when i was stock my idle would do that from time to time, but not consistently.

the same drop low and back to normal idle

with my new setup its 2.8 60lbs injectors the idle is rough. my car has shut off on me 3 times since my retune, ill come to a stop and drop it into 1st cuz im only stopping for a few seconds and the car shuts off, clutch in and in gear, the rpms drop too low is what im seeing but if im in neutral when this happens the car doesnt shut off

its weird my tuner is gonna look over some stuff and see what he can do

the up side is she pulls like a beast and the whine is the best
