Infamous brake pedal squeak
If you have the infamous brake pedal squeak, look no further. The sound is coming from the drum, not the brake pedal mechanism itself.
-Buy some brake quiet ****
-Take your drums off
-Use a flat-head screwdriver to kind of pry the shoe off of the backing plate
-Fit some of the brake quiet **** between the metal contact point on the shoe, and the backing plate of the drum, lube it up good
-Adjust the brakes with the star-tentioner
-Throw everything back together
All of the squeaks will guaranteed be gone. This is something that the dealership charges roughly $60 for.
