i just installed an injen intake on my 2.4l and when i turn off the car it makes a strange noise that it didnt make when the stock airbox was on is this normal or did i do something wrong

ya kinda like that is it normal

 

Make sure everything is tightened down, hooked up and nothing is rubbing on anything. Other than those things, there should be no reason why it would be making ANY noise. Unless you have a feret in your intake tube.

 

the noise is made once the car is turned off about 2 secs later it sounds like spinning then i hear a click is that just the motor turning off

when i installed the injen sri, my 2.2 made like a "realeasing pressure"noise. I'm guessing that's what you're talking about.
