Intercooler is Drinking Water
hopefully the air in the system didn't overpressurize and break through to your intake...
try filling it back up with dex-cool, bleed the air out of the system, and see if it still goes down. If it does take it to chevy asap. The intercooler system should be covered under powertrain warranty

To bleed the stock IC system:Remove the bleeder screw which is located at the top of the HE on the drivers side.
Put in a 1/8" NPT with 1/4" barb fitting into bleeder hole.
Run a 1/4" hose from the barb fitting into the fill neck of the IC coolant.
Turn the car to the "ON" position and have the IC start pushing coolant through the system. Make sure that you keep the coolant level in the fill neck above the 1/4" hose or when you shut off the IC pump you may suck air back into the HE.
Replace the fill cap and bleeder screw. You will more then likely still have to add some coolant from time to time for a few weeks as more trapped air is still bled from the system.

Tried this tonight... with the car RUNNING... nothing was moving through the 1/4" hose. Not even Air. So I took the hose off and some coolant comes out of the top of the bleeder... so I pour some more into the Overflow... and more pours out of the bleeder. Okay, I think... I got it. SO I take it for a spin and it's the same old same old. Still chugging it.
I'm taking this bitch to the dealership tomorrow and having them pressure check it. This BETTER be under the Powertrain warranty... as it is essential for the engine to run. At least that's how I see it. I'm getting very VERY frustrated. Plugs are still clean, and I can't see any drip marks under the car from losing coolant. I'm losing too much for it to be going into the intake and not show up on the plugs or exhaust. Way too much.
Oh... I forgot to mention... this bitch has been hitting like 17.5 psi!!! On a fully open exhaust... my cat is empty! I didn't think I should be hitting that much boost with an open exhaust.

I had this same problem. after arguing with the dealer we finally took the bleeder screw off and poured coolant in the filler neck until the fluid flowing out came out smooth. every once in a while it seems i have to add a little, but seems to run fine.

Intercooler isn't Drinking water... it's shooting it out of the overflow.
I took an empty Mountain Dew bottle, cut a hole in it, and slide it onto the overflow line. Took her out for a run... and when I got back... the Mountain Dew bottle was FULL of Coolant and quite obviously, the system was damn near empty.
It's going into the dealer tomorrow morning.

I bet the orings around your luminova cores need to be replaced. When under full boost, the car is probably pressurizing the system too much causing it to blow out the overflow. Not a huge deal, just need to take the manifold off, pull the cores, and replace the orings.

I dunno... I'm tell the mechanics all this stuff. hopefully they know what they are doing!

"Yeah, we've got you a new Catalytic Converter on the way. You're old one was getting clogged... that's what threw the Check Engine Light and that was causing a bunch of back pressure which is what was causing your coolant to shoot out."
Last time I checked (a week ago), my cat was empty! Oh well... maybe they're right... maybe my empty downpipe was clogged. We'll see tomorrow when I get it back. At least my exhaust won't be so damn loud now!
Besides... how is a clogged Cat... making my coolant shoot out of the Intercooler???

Well, hopefully they are right. Only time will tell..
BTW, when I had my cat replaced last week, the tech just cut the old one and rewelded a new one in place. I was expecting to be out of my car for a week but instead 1 day.

at the dealer they'll probably replace the whole dp assymbly. Where you went they just took the dp out and welded in a new cat
I wondered this too but after I looked under the hood it was apparent what they did.

Well, mine ordered a whole new DP evidently... because they have to wait one more day because the gaskets didn't come in today.
I'm curious as to whether or not they've even looked at the dp yet... probably not, otherwise they probably wouldn't be replacing it. Since, I've got the Cobalt-Addiction DP.
Has anyone ever heard of too much back pressure causing coolant to shoot out??? I haven't!

And how do you do that??? I used the how to in the HOW TO section and it mentioned nothing about how to bleed the IC Stystem:

^^^That is what I did... this car is pissing me off. The level dropped again last night. My car is getting worse and worse... it's really slow right now.

if it is i wouldn't be to rough on the car, i just drove mine to work a few times and the motor blew. if it starts getting slower and more slugish, you have problems allready.

Wow... they warrantied my Cobalt-Addiction downpipe with a Stock one! Big sound difference too, real smooth and clean sounding. I like it... not loud like the empty cat one. I like it... but I think I'll miss my Snap, Crackle, and Pops on deceleration.
That and the flames being shot out when I WOT shift. I have yet to romp on it. The Tech and everyone at the dealer said it doesn't have a break in period... so we'll see. I might still continue to take it easy on it. I really want to beat on it to see if it is fixed or not.

SO I take it out of town to get on it a little bit... and on the way back in... I hit some quick boost... and get radar'd. 66 in a 35... at least he didn't give me Reckless-Op.
That and it shot coolant all over the engine bay again... it waited until my drive home.
