I read the sticky on the failing intercooler pumps. I took the lid off the reservoir and turned the car on. I looks as if its bubbling but im not positive if thats just engine vibration. If it looks like it is bubling does that mean it is flowing????? Is my pump f***ed? I have an 07 by the way.

 

engine vibration wouldnt cause it to bubble or move.

stick something down in there into the flow and you should be able to see if the liquid is flowing.

Ok thanks. Cus i posted a comment on the stick saying it looked like it was just bubbling and someone said thats how theirs looked meaning the pump is bad. Ill put a drop of food coloring or somthing to see.

 

Easiest way, is to pour some plain ol water in there. When the pump comes on, the dex-cool will swirl right up and mix it into the system if the pump is working. Should be really obvious, if you aren't sure, the pump is probably dead.
