Intermittent boost

2009 Cobalt SS/Turbo,
Recently got it with low km, at 47,000k

Sometimes the car will work fine.
if I do a pull or WOT, the car will work like it’s supposed to and then loose most boost on the next pull I do, almost feels n/a and only a couple psi.

intermittent engine light, it’s code P0299.
i have already taken off the bumper/charge pipes/Intercooler and inspected for any leaks. Doesn’t seem to be any.

im almost leaning towards a MAP or MAF at this point. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues like this and what you did to fix.

also, is there a way to test the map or maf to see if they are the culprit?

Thanks

I had a similar problem with my HHR SS, but never got P0299. the on time I did get a code, it was for the MAF. But it was the exact same symptoms, it would be running fine and then it would quit. Turn it off back on and it would be fine. If you still have stock intercooler you could check that too. The plastic end tanks on the intercooler like to crack.
