Jumpy RPMs in first gear

Every once in a while when I'm accelerating through first gear after a normal start and normal acceleration the RPMs will jump in 200 - 400 increments instead of a steady increase through the RPMs. It doesn't happen all the time but every once and a while and only in first gear. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have an '06 SS/SC G85 with 2000 miles on it.

I didn't even know that the car was drive by wire, do you think it might be a sensor problem?

Mine has not done that since I go stage 4+ tuned right. I think here is a problem with the GM tunes under idle, and light duty.

Nonono mine did it when i first got it and have put 23k on it. he is not describing clutch slippage from what I understand he is describing power surging.

Yeah, its not slipping I don't think, its just a jump in rpms after the clutch is already engaged.

Jumpy RPM

I have the same problem on very humid and rainy days. GM tech tell me it does that when rain comes in Supercharger, it skips detonation in cylinders.
