it just shut off
so i'm on my way to my parents house sunday morning traveling at about 45mph on the sugar run road. ( a 2 lane back road, almost parallel with the I99/22). there were 2 cars in front of me and 1 behind me. i start up this slight incline and notice i'm falling back. i press on the gas and nothing. i look down at the tach and it at 0, and the dis says auto lights off. i realized it shut off and my next thought was...oh crap the steering is gonna lock. but it didn't, guessing this was because of the electric steering and the key was still on. at this point i'm still rolling along and see that the car behind me is getting closer. so i knock it out of gear, push in the clutch and start it up. i put it into 3rd and away i go. the engine light cane on when i restarted it and is still on.
WTF?!?!?!
i refuse to to take my car back to dean pattersons becuase the service i got the last few times was horrible. so i'm gonna try the dealership by my work, nelson's. it is under new ownership. they better give me a loaner.
anymore problems and i'm getting rid of this car.

this originally happened on sunday...and on my way to work on monday the engine light shut of.?!?!?!?!??!
So i pick the car up from the dealership (nelson's) on tuesday and all they can tell me is that the code was for the MAF. that's it , they couldn't find anything wrong. so i ask them,"so why did the car shut off?" he says maybe that k&n air filter is giving it too much air. then he says you should take that out till your waranty is up.
well as u may have guessed my k&n is still in there, and it will be until i get a CAI. So i don't really know what happened and the cars seems to be running ok.
for now.

My car shot off on me twice now. Last night I hit one hell of a bump, felt like I destroyed a wheel but all was fine. Just after I hit the bump the car was off. Another time it happened while merging off an on-ramp on highway.
Same thing here. Car just died rolled to a stop. Tried to start it back up and it wouldn't. Turned the key 5 mins later it roughly started back up and set a code. Took it to the dealer and can't wait to hear what they tell me. I have stage 2, and Intake.
