When i hit the gas i always hear something that sounds like a leak, it seems to come from the filter cone.
I have double checked it and everything is really well tighted.
Is this a normal sound or is it still an air leak ?

anyone as got this problems ?
help and suggestions will be greatly appreciate

are you sure its not the normal "sucking" noise that you should normally hear, that is also much louder with an intake.

i dont know the exact sound u are hearing so this is my guesss

 

If it sounds like air is being sucked through a small opening...then its just the intake doing its job. I had a Direct Replacement Filter for my old S-10 and it did the same thing.

I just wanted to ask about your K&N Intake. How is fitment? Does the hood bracket rub against it? Does the pipe rub around the opening to the bottom of the car? CEL light?

Fitment is really easy with a little bit of patience, no rub at all anywhere, NO CEL for me
