Post Keyless entry problems

I have a 2007 Cobalt LT and I'm in a bit of dilemma. My keyless entry/remote start has not been working for some time. I have changed the batteries on both remotes and the performance improved and now it is completely unresponsive. My alarm used to go off when I would manually unlock the door but that does not even go off anymore. Not sure if it is a fuse or something I am not thinking about. I cannot find the fuse even looking through the manual several times. Does anyone have the same problem and if so a solution?

Also had this issue. The connection to the battery inside the fob had come lose from the board. Rigged mine with tape.

Instead of the new pad you can also put little pieces of aluminum tape on the back of the remote rubber pad, that's what I did when my remote **** the bed

He said it best. I had the same issues you were having, i resoldered the tabs of the battery to the board, new battery, same problems. Went to that above website, and mine works like new again.

Now when I walk to the car I hit lock/unlock 100 times just cause I can.

Order that and your problems will be over!

I had the same problem. Bought the pad and it started working again then a few months later the battery connection came unsoldered. Easy to fix if u have a solder gun. and maybe a little solder but not necessary just will help get a stronger connection.

I tried keylessfix.com and it is still not working. Is there a fuse for the alarm system? I think that is where the problem is.

They are cheap ass remotes that very often stop working if you drop them.
