2006 cobalt ss 2.0

so my low coolant light came on and I checked the over flow tank and it was low, so I checked spark plugs ( looking for head gasket leak) they were all dry, got looking around and from my fire wall coolant is leaking out of a hose where moisture is supose to drip out when the a/c is running! Its and 06 I shouldn't have a heater core problem already!!!

 

There has been a recall for the 2.2 liter for one of the hose clamps back by the firewall leaking.

 

thanks i'll have to call gm tomorrow and see if there is one for the 2.0 liter

 

thats 08 only iirc, and its the clamp on the engine bay side.

if coolant is coming out the water drain, you have a bad heater core, take it for warrenty

 

yeah thats what i figured was the problem and i have 37000 miles so im just past warranty
