Lease and Mods?

Lease and Mods?
Now i know a lot of you Mod your cars, seems like 80% hehe, but i assume alot of you are leasing and was just wondering don't the mods void your warranty? I would think it would even when your financing until your done your payments but i'm not sure. Maybe i'm missing something here, someone enlighten me. thanks.

in the states, they have the magnusson-moss act that basically says they can do whatever tey want to their cars but if their mods cause a problem it isnt covered, and the burden of proof is on the dealer.
in Canada, we dont have anything simmilar that i have found, but GM does honour the same act here too, at their discretion. personally though, they have the right to be dicks and chances are they will be if they have to end up paying money.
for a lease, i wouldnt be modding unless i was planning on buying the car out in the end. but thats just me personally.

Bingo , thanks guys. I plan on buying the car out myself, but then again a lot can change in 4 years so its a tough call at the moment. If i mod it'll just be a few of the basics i imagine cai, smaller pulley. But thats good to know. Sounds like modding does give the dealer more incentive to turn their head to you tho.
