04 ION Redline:

We recently replaced the crankshaft position sensor (while replacing the stock PCV with the SC and intake off) following the Haynes manual directions.

Now the car starts and runs rough in limp mode w/the reduced power light on.

At first we tried starting the car with no exhaust from the manifold down. Thought I might get a code but wasn't too worried about it.

We tried it again tonight with the exhaust on all the way back to the beam axle (no muffler) and after disconnecting the battery to clear the code. The car is still in limp mode.

Any suggestions???
