Little clicking noise front end

I hear a front end clicking only when I'm rolling, it's coming from the right side. Just did a state inspection yesterday. Axle is fine, brakes are good. Trans is perfect in every gear. So I'm lost. Anyone have any ideas? New tires are on (noise was present before and still there after)

That would progressively get louder as I increase in speed and turn into a humming noise correct? Def not that if so.

Continuous. And the click remains the same speed of clicking despite the speed I'm at. Maybe it picks up in speed. But only a small fraction. Nothing crazy and head turning. Lol know what I mean

I'm beginning to believe its the wheel bearing tbh. It's now starting to hum when I get on the highway and it's only coming from one side so it's not the new tires. Anyone have an idea how much labor is for that or is there a how to? I'm gonna buy an AC Delco wheel bearing from Rockauto

try jacking up the car and grabbing the top and bottom of the tire and try to push and pull the wheel. if there is any play there. ur wheel bearing on that side needs replacing.

In my experience humming noises are usually the wheel bearing, definitely jack it up and check fr some play

Just replaced mine ,jacked it up to check and had no play.
The only way I could tell for sure was the noise gets less if the weight is lessened when turning a corner (getting off the highway)
Turn right and the noise gets less or goes away it the right bearing,if it gets noticeably louder it's the left bearing.
Worked for me.

+1 for wheel bearing but could also be a cv joint. put the wheel to full lock and drive the car in a circle in reverse in a parking lot. do it in both directions, and if you hear a click click click then its the cv joint.

curious about this... Seems to be happening to alot of cobalts. I have this intermittent clicking right now and it progresses with the rate of speed. sounds kinda like a rusty bed spring... I just rotated my tires two days ago.

This happened riiiight after I bought 4 new tires. I'm beginning to wonder if he over torqued the lugs and destroyed the wheel bearing. Is that even possible? Idk either way it's hurendous sounding now n def the bearing. Lol I work so much I can't ever get around to getting it fixed let alone doing it myself

its not a bad job, but in order to replace the bearing, you have to buy a whole new hub which is like 150. 20 minute job. make sure you have a large hammer to get the old one off. over torquing the lugs wouldnt have anything to do with the bearing.
