LNF p0451 p0496...

What's up guys, I got this cel today. Seems to be the Evap system, read up on it would it be the Evap solenoid on the intake manifold?

Just don't wanna spend the money and it's not that lol..

I had that code, 0496. Took off my evap solenoid on the intake manifold and blew into it, it was bad, when you blow into it it should not let any air through. Replaced. never had a problem since.

Heres a vid on how to test it.

DDMWorks - EVAP Solenoid Testing and Replacement on Ecotec engines - YouTube

if it don't work they got it on ebay for $10

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

I had the p0455 code and changed it last week the cel is gone. Hope this works.

that is correct.

This is likely the issue and apparently this is a common "failure" point on these cars.

i had this same code come up. it did turn out to be the evap purge solenoid. i started to have problems startin it everytime i put gas in the car to. i actually went to the dealership and got the part...after i ordered it on amazon and they sent me the wrong part. but the dealership was actually just as cheap as orderin it online plus i didnt have to wait for the part. it only costed me $30. and it only take 2 seconds to replace it. i aint had a single problem since.

Yep same thing happened to me. I actually changed the Vent Valve first but it turned out to be the Evap purge valve on the manifold.
