Loss of power,no boost, backfiring!
is this for real? why in the hell would u spend 1700 for a stock intercooler and install when u could have gone online (u obviously have internet since u posted here) gone to zzp site and order one for 350 and have it in in 2 or less hours. u out of ur mind, u could have got a zfr turbo for just 200 more with that kinda money.
Well 3 weeks and 1760 bucks later it's fixed. I had the intercooler replaced with another stock one, no one around here could get an aftermarket one, I had them make a plate to go under that condensation bar to keep it from smacking again. I will keep you guys posted on updates!
I still have no idea why anyone in their right minds would replace something stock that broke or something happened to it with another stock one. Seems like complete stupidity.
Completely dumbfounding.

Well, have to say that the OP is totally new to the Cobalt websites, he only posted a few times in here and I don't think he knows where to go to buy the good stuff. He will learn now that he's a member on here. Now he knows to look at zzp or other companies when he needs something. With that kind of money, at zzp he was gonna buy 5 intercoolers, and be set for the next 2000 years as far as intercooler related problems.
Sorry guys been away for abit...1700 was for all the trouble shooting they did to figure out what was wrong! I told them from the start that it was those end caps everyone told me about. They would not listen. They also would not replace anything but stock through warranty..... My cost was 800 bucks warranty covered the rest. I will switch to a non stock when my warranty is up!
