A lot of Front End Rattling

2009 SS Bought the car used in June, rattling was minor. Since July I noticed a lot of rattling coming from the front end, only while driving. Smooth roads (rare in NJ), are a little quiter but on highway and rough roads it's an annoying rattling. Sounds like suspension but I'm not too sure. :/

Not sure what to check first. I'm just getting into this so I don't know a lot. Slowly learning everything but help is appreciated :/

check bumper clips. Sometimes it sags causing rattling. could be struts. but most of the time, its usual for this car. welcome to the Cobalt SS lol

Haha that I noticed, just wasn't sure if it could be my struts or bearings or something. I'm trying to get an exhaust soon but I want to fix the important stuff first.

If it's the bumper clips, do i just pop em back in? Good thing I bought the Haynes book lol..

mine were just wore down and the front end sagged. You probably should replace them. My struts rattle real bad and the steering column is known for it. Check those first

LOL from what I read that is what it seems. As long as it isn't a dangerous rattle I'll just turn the volume back up lol.

It rained so I haven't had a chance to go under and check the suspension at all. Sadly I ran into another issue, not sure what's going on.. maybe it's normal I'm not sure, I'm not used to these engines at all compared to what I drove before this. Might create another thread for it..
