Loud noise possible rotors/ wheel

Hey there,
my 07 ss sc has recently been getting really loud on the highway
Going above 60km/h it starts to sound like the engine is rev'in real high but it is not, i've coasted in neutral down a hill and i don't beileve it to be anything to do with my tranny.
My second thought was my exhaust would be causing it but i ruled that out by coasting on the highway doing about 100 with my engine turned off and still getting the noise.
My conclusion is that it is something to do with the wheels possible baring or rotor issue. anyone got any idea thanks in advanced
car has 97200 kms on it

i think in order for anybody to help u here. ull need a bit more detail. its really good that u did a bit of diagnosing ur self by turning the car off and still hearing the noise. that narrows it down alot. now u know that it has to be something in the wheels.. like u said, rotors, wheel bearing, noisy tires, etc. if i were u i would give a bit more detail. such as, what type of noise is it. whiny, whirring, high pitched, squeaky, grinding, blah blah. does turning the wheel make any difference, does it go away during braking and so on. i hope u dont take this wrong. but there r too many possiblities from what uve said. i personally dont know of anything common with out cars that would cause this. but mainly.. we need u to describe the sound or post a video of it with the car off.

I see that you're already taking some steps towards taking care of this noise you're hearing, and know that not everybody is interested in a dealership. If you do decide to work with a dealership and should like assistance, I would recommend getting in touch with Customer Service. As you used "kilometers" as a unit of measure, I am supposing you are Canadian? I can get you the contact information if you like, or the contact information for the appropriate country.

Try turning the car to the left or right while
Driving. See if the sound goes away when turning. That's usually a sign of a bad wheel bearing. How often do you rotate your tires and how long ago did you last get your alignment checked? It could be that your tires are cupped and are making noise.
