LSJ clutch question..
OK... I was at the track last night, and what I figured would eventually happen... well happened....
I leave the line, car goes good. Then, I shift into 2nd gear and as soon as I let the clutch out, I lose everything!! Car won't move! Well, it glided down the rest of the track, but not under power....
Is the clutch just fried? Or, could this be something more? One of my buds suggested that it "might" be the input shaft.
If the car is running, i can throw it in any gear and only in 4th do I hear a bit of grab (kinda sounds like it's catching, then nothing).
Any thoughts???
Thanks guys....

o ****. u mean its like permanantly like this now? the stock lsj clutches arent good enough to hold even the stock power of the car ha. its rediculous. this happened to me once when i raced from a stop. got to about 3500 rpm in neutral. dumped the clutch pretty hard granted but this was when i first got the car. but anyways. dumped the clutch and got to likr 6000 rpm then shifted. dumped the clutch again. when i let out the clutch this time the car revved up to like 6500 rpm BARELY grabbing.. so i had to like.. double clutch ha. hit the clutch in a couple of times just to release it and get it to grab because i was freaked out. obv lost the race but atleast didnt **** the car up anymore than i needed to.
from wat i hear thats a great choice as well. holds alot of power. ha but ya i dont think that would be axles. im pretttyyyyy sure ud notice ur axles being bad ha.
If you have the car in gear with the clutch fully let out (Not supposed to be slipping) and flooring it only results in the car revving without even going anywhere, then it is a bad clutch. Best way to test it is to get on the highway, then while in 5th, floor it. You'll notice if you're not going anywhere despite a rapidly climbinb RPM.

Thanks for the advice bro... Car won't move right now, so the highway in 5th gear thing is not gonna work.. lol
I do the "4th at 40" test.... 4th gear/ 40km/h. It was good yesterday...
I think it was my bad going on the track this weekend.. It's a big weekend event and they prepped the track waaaaayyyyy too good!! lol
