Ended up getting a whole new engine. It's got 0 miles! Got it for 2800, free shipping, and it's at my buddies house and he's putting it in for 500. Can't wait to get her back.

Great deal.

And you can still sell of parts from the blown motor to make some cash back. The block may be shot, but the head is still worth some money.

Yeah that's what I figured I'd do. All the used engines I found had like 90k+ on them and people were asking like 2.2k so I figured I'd put out the little bit extra. All the parts that are in the block are still good as well. I figured I could post the parts for sale on here and on ebay. Put some money back in the bank. I miss the balt so much guys.

Damn I paid 5k for a gm crate motor lol. But I got a 3 year warranty so ehh. Congrats bro, for 2800 you could have gotten the engine fixed, and did a budget build. But, anywho...

Idk how I could have fixed it. There was a hole in the cast aluminum block lol. Not too much you can do. Broke college student life. Needed something reliable. Can't afford to be having to fix ****.
