see though man my car runs great at wot it just is misfiring like no other at idle and less than 2000rpms

it might be a faulty injector, not the harness if its only a certain injector

 

i dont have hptuners and even if i did i wouldnt know what i am looking at

also during WOT runs my car has 0 misfires so i am lost

ok....all this stuff would make sense if the misfire wasnt following the injector....he threw the injector out of c1 in to c2 and the misfire followed to c2......has to be the injector! the harness wouldnt cause that, and if it did, it wouldnt follow the injector. and as i said, due to the fact that it is under 2k rpm, im guessing the injector isnt opening wide enough at low idc's....60's are big, and i would guess that at low idc's (less than 5 percent) they arent as precise as say, 42's at the same idc due to the larger appature. This would be causing it to run lean, and thus misfire.....if it was running rich there would be fouling on the plug....

 

Who did you buy your Injectors from? You need to find someone who can flow test them.

I'll put $20 on the fact that the one that is causing the problem isn't flowing correctly at Idle-like speeds.

You problem has nothing to do with spark or ignition. It is solely a FUEL INJECTOR PROBLEM. You proved that when you moved Cyl 1's injector to Cyl 2 and the problem followed.

 

i bought my injectors from zzp. i can see why i never got the cel on the wya home from ohio cause i drove on the highway the whole time and was never idling. i am going to call zzp at 9 when they open. i do not know of anywhere around me with a flow bench to test them, hopefully zzp will take a look at them and see whats up

YOUR problem is more than likely related to Spark Plugs... or a blown IC Pump.

Actually, there are a lot of possibilities for your problem. How are your IAT2's behaving?

Hmm.. Not much progress yet. I dont think it is a mechanical problem, like something being wrong with the car, mostly because I have heard of others with this same problem. The reason I am running towards it running rich at idle rather than lean is because when mine use to do it really bad, the fuel would almost start to puddle in the cylinders This is how the dealership almost killed my engine, you know its a bad sign when they pull out wet spark plugs. Lol

Also, another reason is because under WOT condition, the air is just forcing out all of the extra fuel that is being put in at idle, hence why it gets rid of all the misfires that are standing as well.

I notice in your signature you have a Wideband, is it hooked up yet? What are you seeing at idle?

its your injector and id put money on it. Contact zzp and get it replaced.

harness is fine,

unless your other cylinders are misfiring your gap is fine.

.37 is a good gap.
