Missing Part from K&N Intake WTF

I recently ordered the K&N intake with drycharger for my ss/sc from Modernperformance. The shipping was pretty fast but the package didn't include the Drycharger. The drycharger is pretty much the reason why I bought this intake to begin with and that it was somewhat cheaper than the rest of the intakes. I'm pretty dissapointed because I was planning on getting the intake installed this Sunday but since I don't have the drycharger I don't know what to do. What do you guys think? Should I just put it on for the meantime and when they send the drycharger, put it on the filter? That would be extra work though by taking out the plastic crap in the wheel well. AHHH. lol

I would install and just put the dry charger on afterwords. The install of the intake will take the longest anyways. Only take prolly 20 minutes to remove liner and throw the dry charger on and re-assemble! Then again I hate waiting to install anything on my car!

I hate waiting too. And guess what, they didn't give me the brackets, rubber tube (crankcase vent hose), washers, or rubber stud. So now i can't install it at all until probably late next week when I get the parts shipped to me that should've been shipped in the first place. Oh well, good things come to those who wait is how I see it

Well I ordered my exhaust from them and it was fast as hell shipping. I like Modern and I'm not bashing them. It was just a mix up. I'm sure they will send me the stuff that should've been ssent with it in the first place. I will still use them. Hey we are human, no one is perfect. However if it happens to me again I may just go somewhere else. Chances are they just messed up and will send me the stuff right away so I can install it and have some fun with my friends srt4 hehe

Now that sucks! I've heard nothing but good thinks about modern though, everbody makes mistakes I guess. Also could be K&N didn't pack them, isn't the intake already in a box from K&N with all the parts? Oh well, you'll get it done soon, the wait is worth it!

Yeah I belive the box is from K&N. It could've been K&N's fault too and it probably was. So yeah i'm not mad at Modern at all. I'm dissapointed that I can't install it this weekend but it's not Modern's fault. And even if it is, I'm not mad at them. I've made mistakes before. The pakcage has Modern's taping around the edges so i'm guessing they opened it to see if it had all the items in it and probably just thought everything was in this box. What might suck is that Modern might have to have K&N send them the part and then send it to me which will take some time because I don't think Modern will have extra parts lying around. I wasn't planning on getting the intake now but I ran into a couple hundred bucks for Christmas and decided to spend it. I did get my 2.8" pulley from SFPH. I have to order their spark plugs too and then the GM stage 2 kit I can't wait.

Yeah. The yellow ss is mine. I just put my carbon fiber hood on like 2 days ago too. It's under my pics in the gallery.
