Idle Fix In The Works ?!?!?

I have been in contact with GM Canada, and they are interested in taking my car to try and get a snapshot of the problem when it happens. This is why they don't have a fix, it is such an intermittent problem. I spoke to the guy responsible for powertrain quality as well as cobalt quality. I will let you know more when I find anything out. Maybe my car can end the madness for everyone.

What exactly is this idle problem? I'm unfamiliar with it. Please enlighten.

It is a problem with the SC SS. The rpms will drop and the car almost stalls, then it catches and flares to sligthly above 1000rpm. It keeps doing this, sometimes it stops after a few times or you have to touch the gas.

I went up north to my home town where the temp was about 40 all day then less than 20 at night ... now im sure lots of people have colder nights but this is my experience ... when it first happened I freaked and thought WTF. then it caught up did it again and I gave it gas for about 10 seconds. like 3k rpm's the next day I was ready knowing previously what had happened and again it did it and once I gave it some gas it went away

I never knowticed an idle problem before my reflash, however I have knowticed the car making (this may sound odd) more power on the odd stroke. Like when I'm holding the brake at a light (I'm auto) the car sometimes jumps forwards a little bit outta no where. I don't change my brake pressure or anything. I have no idea why it does it but it's not caused any problems yet.

has anyone in canada had the reflash done that fixes the problem. Does anyone know a number or name of the update. My car is an 06 build date 10/05, I have a little over 4000km on it.
