Not too long ago, I was driving my cobalt with the sunroof open when I started to notice some rain clouds rolling in. I did the logical thing and attempted to close the sunroof, when to my surprise - it wouldn't move. I parked the car and eventually (after the first few drops of rain started failing) was able to get the button to somewhat close the sunroof.

The rear left segment of the sunroof was propted up, while the other 3 corners were down. I brought it to the dealer who took over a week to fix (apparently the part required to fix it was on back order).

And now, apart from being nervous to open my sunroof, I can hear wind entering from the roof and it just doesn't seem to be the same again. I guess it serves me right for buying a car in it's first production year. Thankfully, I only have a year and a half left on my lease...

 

you got wind whistle you have to have them check if its sealed correctly.

 

Check for debris on the sunroof tracks and drainage area...

 

Ive had my sunroof realigned twice and I still have wind whistle, when the shade is open, but if I close the shade, then the noise is gone.

Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. My car has been in the shop 7 times in the 8 months I've had it. $ times were due to the sunroof.

 

I had a similar problem with my sunroof, it would close all the way, but I could press up on one corner and the seal wouldn't hold. I also had my sunroof button fall out twice, but its fixed now.
