Motor Knock At 400 miles !!??

i just got my car and i have been driving it around alot because its so much fun and now i have been hearing a knock from the motor when it is warming up but at soon at it warms up it goes away. Anybody know if this is normal or if there is a problem? i have not taking it to the dealer yet.

sounds like piston slap, which should be fine on todays motors, its caused by a short skirt or something like that, once warmed up everything comes within tolerances

all it is , is piston slap , these cars you can hear it , it always sounds like the car is fucked up but thats just the pistons slapping like a mother ******

cant fix whats not broken, its a trade off on a cold start to hear that for lower weight lower friction pistions

Mine does it too. I think it is more the lifters clicking than piston slap. Either way it is just a cold start symptom. It's nothing to worry about.
