Motor/Transmission mount
Motor/Transmission mount
So I went autocrossing over the weekend and had an absolute blast. But on the way home I noticed that there was a creeking noise everytime id go over a bump or turn at parking lot speeds. The motor or transmission mount thats underneath the electrical box is the only one that I can see is torn.
Anybody know the name of that specific mount?

There are 4 mounts.
Front and rear transmission are both under the transmission.
Front engine is under the airbox on 2.2/2.4 and 2.0Turbo cars.
Upper transmission is under the fusebox.

I did leave out the engine mount but that's not what he was asking about.

no upper trans is under the fuse box. the rear trans is near the sway bar. front trans mount is bracketed to the front end of the cradle. the engine mount is on the passenger side typically found under the NA airbox if you have one and I don't.
I actually just looked this up myself. For anyone wondering, part number 25829028 is for cobalt ss with an auto trans (2.4 maybe? Im unaware if the supercharged or turbo cars came with auto transmissions). the part number 15835312 is for 2.2 cars with a manual transmission.
