ok, not sure if this belongs here, but I'll give it a go anyway. Are all of the 2.4L SS models (2006) supposed to have the MP3 Playback feature? or at least the aux. input option? Mine was "supposed" to according to the dealership, and when I got it, it didn't work. I took it back and they said it wasn't on the stick, and basically, boohoo for me. I was just curious cause I found a page on the chevy website that said the pioneer sound system had the MP3 feature standard, I do have the pioneer, but mp3's def. do not work for me. Anyone know? and if so, what can I do about this?

 

mp3 radio was a $150 option on the 2.4 ss standered on the supercharged ss

 

i thought mp3 was standard on the 2.4 and pioneer was standard on the 2.2?

Your radio will have the MP3 logo on the bottom right or bottom left corner of the face. I know it was standard in the SS S/C but not sure on the SS N/A.

 

Yeah, if it doesn't have MP3 written on it you don't have it.

 

the 2007s are the only ones that have the mp3 hookup, the pre 2007 just have the ability to play cds with mp3s burned on them.

 

If you got the pioneer system then you got the head unit that plays mp3 and should say mp3 on the head unit. IF you dont have the right head unit I would bitch.
