My car is shaking please help!

I drive a 2006 Chevy cobalt SS I just got all four brakes and rotors replaced and the swaybar links replaced and my car still shakes when I'm going down the road. It starts shaking at 45 MPH and stops around 60 MPH. It shakes even more when I am at those speeds and try to slow down. It doesn't do it as bad when I hit my brakes slightly harder to slow down. I do know I was told I need new caliper brackets on both sides in front. Any ideas what's wrong?

Sounds like you got a shop to do the work?

Take it back.

I know there's alot of things that can make your car shake but mine shook at exactly those speeds. I never would have thought this but my struts where completely toast. Replaced those and it doesn't shake 1 bit now. I don't know why blown struts would make it shake but in my case that's exactly what it was. Good luck

Today I was going down the road and had to turn around and when I pulled into a place and turned around when I got back on the road my car was shaking almost no matter what speed I went and I had to drive like 25 the whole way home I think something broke even more.

Could it be that I need a front end alignment after having my sway bar links were replaced?
