Is my motor hydrolocked?!?!
So last night I was driving through the pouring rain, I have a cold air intake. I had to drive there was no way around it so I tried driving and came to a street with alot of pretty pig puddles., my engine started sputtering, then I hit another puddle and it just shut off. I tried to start it and all it did was click. So I had road-side assistance and they towed it to my house. Today I tried to start it and still just a click. I pulled my intake tube off and the filter and a pretty good amount of water poured out of the throttle body. I checked oil and it seems real thin. I'm confused as if this can be fixed fairly easily or if I should start investing in a new motor. Please help.

pull out the spark plugs, leave them out overnight. attempt cranking it the next morning with the plugs still out of it and the injectors disconnected. you are going to have to crank it several times to try and get as much water as possible out of it. change the oil. put the plugs back in, plug the injectors back in and hope it fires

Motor won't even try to turn over, even with spark plugs out it just clicks. I haven't tried WD40, which sounds like a pretty good idea. I'll keep posting updates on what I find out.

This seems to happen alot to SS/SC's . When i had mine I always thought if I got into a situation where water was going to be an issue .....I would just unhook the intake at the throttle body. Just an Idea incase someone reading this runs into the same situation . Even if you dont have a screwdriver .... a quarter should do it.
As far as it just clicking .... you might need to break it loose with a breaker bar and socket at the crank..... odds are the rods are bent if it sucked in a lot of water while running .
