Need help with [complete] dash removal

Hey guys,

I'm attempting to swap wiring looms between an 06 SS shell and an 06 LT. Configuration is the same except that my LT has heated seats, which I want to have, hence the loom swap. The picture below outlines where I am at now in the process. I haven't been able to find a how-to on how to take the rest of the dash apart.

Another obstacle is the rubberized floor covering thing towards the front of the car under the dash...it's blocking my view of the loom so I can't see exactly where it goes before going back into the firewall.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been trying to get at the RKE receiver in the upper right. How hard was it to get the dash cover off?

Thanks. The dash cover was really easy to remove...although I later learned it's even easier if you remove the screws holding the passenger airbag cover. They are under the dash above where the glove box is.

Thanks for the documents, that is perfect. I was able to get the whole loom out without removing the dash. I took the amp out and was able to lift the floor covering enough to get at the wires. All connectors going from the main loom to the dash are quick release which is great.

I may still need to take the dash apart, but at least I can do it in stages now.
