need help dip stick keeps popping out

i don't know y it is doing this i thought it was because of the intake manifold gasket because that is what people said but i changed that like a week or 2 ago and i just came back from a drive i got on it a little bit but not much and i popped my hood and the dip stick is out and i have oil in my engine bay again what can i do to fix this

it's caused by excess crank case pressure sooo you might has engine issue MIGHT

thanks i think my motor my be messed up my friends say i have a good amount of black smoke that come out of my car when i get on it but it runs fine

black smoke generally means you're too rich.. however it really depends is it a blue ish dark smoke?
what are your mods?

i dont think i am burning oil i know that but my mods are 2.8, 60's, trifecta tuned, zzp header and downpipe, magnaflow catback, zzp heat exchanger, dual pass, raw intake, and hactickstu mod

i have the home depot oil catch can and there is nothing in it but a breather cap were you fill it with oil should do it

put a spring on the dipstick to hold it in pkace. from the top of the dipdtick to somewhere on the dipstick chamber

i have an interceptor and wideband everything seems fine and it has only happened in like the last month and a half and it happen before and after i was tuned

Another thing to note is that GM revised the IM gasket to improve the CV. You may need to replace that depending on your model year...

i already replaced it i said that in my first post were can i get a breather filter cap i went to autozone and they didn't have any only ones that push in for older cars

where can i get the breather cap to replace the oil cap

It's your oil rings there recalled in some 06/07's they can check the GM message boards! Free!!!! They cause excess crank pressure. I.E. Dip stick

that doesnt help if you read what i ahev said i already replace the intake manifold gasket like 2 weeks ago and my dip stick popped out again

Check your PCV valve. If its plugged and not working it cant vent the crank case pressure, which would make it seek any outlet it can and since the dipstick isnt really held in by much it would go there.

before anything, do a compression and leakdown test. you are getting excessive crankcase pressure

I'm not sure of the other engines, but the LSJ does not have a PCVV.
