Need Help Fast! Car will not move!!
I dont know what the hell happened, but i pulled to a red light and when i started moving the car just died. So i restart and the idle is horrible and lots of vibration. I get the car home luckily and pop the hood while it idles and the motor shakes horribly as the rpms range from 200-2000. I just had stage 2 installed yesterday so i dont know if this has anything to do with it. Also there is a wire coming up the little coolant resovoir right in front of the supercharger the wire to the left is not plugged into anything. Is this normal? Please someone help me thankss.
I really doubt it, but it's possible. I just threw it out there cause I couldn't think of anything else.
It happened to me once when I got a new engine installed in an Eclipse I had. Picked it up from the shop and decided to put it to the test on my way home. The engine did the same thing you described. I didn't know anything back then, so I just called a tow truck to take it back to the shop. I got a call an hour later from the mechanic and he said the intake came off the motor. I asked him why and he said "well we don't tighten the hell out of it, we didn't expect you to floor it."

jsut a few questions. do you a power problem as well?
What were you doing at the time? really think back cause it will help point to possible causes. IE - down shift and motor running close to high RPM, or happened under acceleration, or I just started it up and it was like that... get the drift. any detail at all. Coolant temp, coolant low indicated on the info center. I just through out a whole lot of miscellaneous.
I would definitely take it back to the dealer. I dont think it would be Stage II related.
