Need Some Help With An Issue!!!

So a while back when I replaced a left front wheel stud I got some surface rust that flaked off trapped between the brake rotor and hub. Needless to say, it warped the rotor. Took it off and had it turned but it only helped for a bit. At that point I had constant shaking from 60-65 as well as the typical brake pulsing(only when braking at highway speeds though). Money was tight at the time and I couldn't afford to replace the rotor. I let it go for way to long(bout 2k miles). Finally got around to replacing the rotor. The constant shake at 60 is gone but the pulsing when braking is WAAAAYYY worse. There's also a pretty loud "roaring noise" as well when I hit the brakes at highway speeds. It is still ONLY at highway speeds.
I didn't replace the pads cuz they looked fine still. I do have them available but I'm not sure that pads would cause this though. It sounds/feels REALLLY bad!! Sounds like somethings gonna fall apart at any time.
What could this be? Could something else have been damadged from letting the warped rotor go for so long?
Get creative! Anything you can think of!
NEED HELP ASAP!!!

A Common cause of "warped" brake discs is over torqueing the lug nuts.
I say warped in quotes beucase of some discusion on another thread.

I think you should have replaced your pads with the rotor. Did you do both rotors ? Or just one?
Both would be preferable, so they are the same. (Left and Right)
Other then that, I don't know.

I have a torque wrench so no worries there.
I'll be replacing the pads in the next couple days.
Only did one rotor but could that cause this?

BUMP!!!
Now have brand new rotors and pads! Issue is better but when I hit the brakes just right at highway speeds(60+) it still ROARS quite loudly. Not much pulsing now like before so there's still an underlying problem. Sounds like it's coming from left front.
NEED NEW SUGGESTIONS!!!
I think I might end up just taking it in. I need to have the power steering recall done anyways.

Possible. How would I test that or what would I look for?
