ok, did you double check your manifold and DP are sealed correctly and aren't leaking, that will cause codes as well, what was your baro pressure again? and if you have access to a tech2 try and get the code to set and take a snapshot of the parameters that will help alot.

My fuel trims are off at idle (has nothing to do with boost) and I am getting the code that way, as well. If your fuel trims are off... again, it has nothing to do with boosting or not boosting the car. That would be power enrichment.

The car is trying to trim in fuel when the injector is supposed to off. This isn't going to a normal fix.

gene culley i'm sure your aware that your LTFT's at differen't speeds and differen't throttle positions you are sitting in a differen't fuel trim cell. your warm idle trim cell is 17, cold idle is 37 each one will command differen't fuel amounts.

thank you, thats what im trying to get at. as my trim cells are high in boost because of the pulley, they arent above 18%, its not were the issue is. the trim cells on decel are high, hence the issue. at idle the trim cells are also in the right spot.

see thats what has me completely thrown off here. as far as i know, fuel is shut off 100% for decel, so why would the fuel trims go high???

i havent gotten the car up on my hoist to check the header for leaks. it is something im going ot do, just need some time to get to it at my shop. im not really suspecting it being i cant hear any exhaust leaks. i cant remember what my baro was at, ill have to look at that next time it sets the code. i dont have a tech 2, but i can use my shops snap on solus (just as good). taking a snapshot wont be easy, but freeze frame data (the data exactly when the code set) will tell me the same thing.

ok well when you get a chance to take the car for a drive with the solus, see if you can find the parameter that tells you if fuel cutoff on decel (that is what it is called with the tech 2) is operating correctly. and it doesn't hurt to take make sure everything on your exhaust is ok, things can come loose over time.

Hmm intresting. This code just came on for me also, I wasn't under boost I was driving normal! Cleared it and it came right back on! I did just get my bung welded in for my wideband I was thinking it was that but that was a few days ago it. So idk I don't have all the tools you have. But I can measure my trims! How do I know what the trims are suppose to be?

do you have access to LTFT's or STFT's or both. your STFT's should hover between 5% - -5% and your LTFT's at idle should be as close to 0% as possible, its ok if your +/- 3% which is pretty normal for DD. i'm not sure what the LTFT is supposed to be at WOT.

a dyno tune specific to your car would be ideal. your st's are fine your lt's are running a little rich would could be the cause of your misfire, your throttle is fine as well.

ignition timing is 4.5 is that ok? And my calc load is at 19.21%. I am throwing a p103 code now too. I can't figure out what is worng. Should I change out spark plugs??

my rpm's at idle jump around constantly and now has a backfire like feeling under acceleration. That's new, only about 3 days

Get rid of those plugs. That's prolly most of your problem . My SS/SC was very finicky about what gap it liked (it would actually break up over 4K rpm when the gap was .040 or larger ) .......with those 4 ground plugs.....who know what kinda gap your getting. Either run stock or one step colder NGK's .

what about autolites?? is iridium better for my mods? I'm thinking about gapping them at .035 actually going with autolites double platinum. Very close to factory specs it says. by the way the other kind of plugs i have right now are the e3's

one thing i've noticed when modding is your plug gap will be differen't then others. for instance just from adding a CAI and porting my exhaust mani, my car would misfire all the time at the stock gap, i fiddled with the gap going higher, got better for a bit then went back to normal. went to .043 (stock is .045) and the misfires went away and even my chug at idle went away and idle is quite smooth now.

and ya those 4 pronged plugs are ****

since I upgraded to the 60lbers and zzp's tune, my car hasn't run good. It's always hunting for a smooth idle. got some plugs just need to change them out and see what happens.

I had the best luck with one step colder NGK coppers . They don't last forever but they were 2 bucks a piece and you could get atleast 5-6K miles out of them easy. NGK BKR7e , the new part number for them is 4644 the old number was 6097.

5-6k miles on plugs??? stock last 100k. I changed out the plugs to the autolites double platinum and they work great!! my old e3's sucked, the part that connected for the spark was broken off one of them and the others were black as ****. Car is running a lot better now

Yep..... They are a copper plug. Supposed to be the best plug to get rid of the heat.
