new car battery

stock battery is dying... anyone got any ideas for a decent one? before i look in stores? i have an after market headunit, 1200watt amp, to 12" subs... thats abotu all i know that would suck the remaining power... a decent battery to support those would be nice. thanks for ur time

I had a napa one that lasted 8 years i was in total shock...some of the lesser expensive ones are great batteries as well. But yes Optima is where ALOT of people trust and go for good reasons.

it could be the latter of the two, the amp is hooked right on the battery since its in the trunk, 'twas easy access.

edit, took it to autozone to get it looked at, "bad battery" was that the device said, with roughly 230 cold cranks left... that was the second test, first test said 180 cranks lol

went to NTB to get my tires rotated, asked about the yellow top.. they dont sell em there... the lady that did my paper work said to go for a red top, it should fit better, the 34-78 series.... so ill have to see where i can get one local... perhaps napa? ill do some research
