New down pipe or fix mine?

OK two points I need to make:
My car has a hahn cat-less down pipe with a electronic exhaust cut out.
The cut out is not fully closing tightly so it rattles and is extremely annoying.
Now I have two questions:
Could the cut out not fully closing be skewing my fuel trims? They are off by 7-11% depending on the day. (stock tune, bolt ons, stock intake)
Either way should I just remove the cut out and have a piece of pipe welded in or should I just buy a new cat-less down pipe?
Thanks guys,
Dustin

Leaky cut out before 02 sensor-likely to cause fuel trims to skew
Leaky cut out after 02 sensor-probably not causing trims to skew but may if it is close enough

can't. he's an lnf.

Just delete the cutout. If you think it's going to be a hassle, it's like $150 shipp brand new from zzp IIRC. Also, if you wanna go this route, there is someone in the classifieds selling a catless dp for $135 shipped.

Sorry for leaving you guys hanging lol, we got the car up on the lift and saw that 3 screws fell out of the cut out so the motor was just spinning itself instead of closing the cut out so we just fixed it up.
