Unhappy New Tires

So after a long night of doing homework at a friends house, i decided it was time to go home. On the way I hit a bump. Nothing that I thought would be too major yet it was a little more aggressive than your everyday bump. Next morning comes and i notice that i have a low tire. So, I drive to the nearest free air and proceed to air up. The tire would not even hold a pound of air, so I start to feel around for the leak. BAM! there is about a hole the size of a quarter ripped into my tread. Next i drove home and looked a little closer and notice a whole in my rear ground effects about the size of two half dollars!!! The bump obviously pushed my tire up enough to slam into and rip a whole into my ground effects on the rear. Now im stuck w/ a 800 dollar tire bill and looking for a rear lip for my black ss/sc. Poor baby

how is one tire costing you 800 bucks, unless you're going for all 4 replaced?

I'd start looking for some aftermarket tires. As for the lip, well...is it on the bottom on the lip, like you wouldn't notice if you weren't under the car?
