Noises from supercharger

I was getting a weird noise from the blower almost like there was a bolt in the charger. I took off the billetflow pulley and put my stock on because I was going to bring it in for service and the noise went away when I put the stock pulley back on. Does anyone have any idea what the hell this could of been?

Could it be possible that the belt was slipping? Kind of scared to put the 2.9 on and have to take it off because of the noise coming back.

yeah unless you have a tensioner u might get some slippage with a 2.9
to my knowledge the 3.0" works fine without slipping

What do you do when it does it?? Do you still drive it or is there a way to make it go away? The sound makes me sick to my stomach.

Ya think it might be the belt slipping on the smaller pulley? the Stage 2 changes the belt for a 3" pulley. Maybe you can buy just the shorter belt. If its to long maybe the tensioner bounces and the belt hops. Just an idea.
