Not a balt but...

My buddy has a 1990 GMC sierra, the steering column had come loose, like someone tired to break in or something, when you go to shift out of park you have to lift the column in order to get it to engage, any idea what the damage might be, or estimated cost of repair for you GM techs out there?

Thanks in advance guys.

there are 3 4 bolt that the column slides through you have to pull the dash off of course but check in there. it happened to my old truck before. i think thats the ones we did anyway.

Thanks, have any more details on the procedure? And if anyone has any idea about how much it would cost at the stealership to get it fixed that'd be great, thanks for the quick reply!
