Not Happy So Far
Bought in early March 09. CEL on in mid April. At dealer for 41 straight days, thanks to dealer for loaner the whole time, GM couldnt figure out the prob. Got car back after 41 days, tech said thought it was fixed. 2 days later CEL with same code. 12 more days @ dealer, GM engineer sent to trouble shoot. Vacuum canister with check valve that was leaking. Everybody in service test drives, no CEl returns. We pick it up on Friday afternoon and last nite after shifting into 2nd gear @ very moderate throttle charge tube blows off turbo. Didnt realize what happened @ 1st and continued to drive destination. Looked under hood and saw tube off. Stuck it back on without clamp tightened while driving in a parking lot, tube blows off again and CEL on again. Back to dealer in the morning. Might be time for GM Buy Back!!
the first problem i can understand your anger. the second one i understand as well but it has been a known issue. the clamps need to be tightened down more and a zip tie to prevent flex of the piping
yeah i would just keep it for now but if the code for the evap comes back more than three times since it was fixed then they dont know what they are doing but sometimes the evap codes are hard to determine also is a a current code when they get it or is it a history code
