O2 sensor problem after battery reset
O2 sensor problem after battery reset
So yesterday I had the battery terminal off. After the car recycled, I got a code for the rear 02 sensor no signal detected. (have to run it again to get the exact code).
And im wondering why this showed up when I reset the computer...? If the problem was already there it wouldve triggered a code right away right?
I havent checked out the 02 sensor yet but I expected a problem, I bought a universal $19 02 sensors off amazon, had to splice the wires, worked great in a 02 bung for the last 4-5 months or so and got me an inspection sticker thats really all that matters. (my oem 02 broke when the bung that I installed came loose because I didnt lock tight it originally, and dragged the 02 on the ground)
Anyways, im happy it lasted this long! I was in a bind and work was slow, now im doing better.
