Odd Hood Problem

I've searched and not found anything about this so hopefully its new but I'm hoping i'm not the only one.

The problem is when i shut my hood yesterday it didnt look like it closed all the way..and it didnt. The driver side is still sticking up about 1/2 or so. You can look right into the engine bay! Its really weird...

I'm going to tinker with it later, but has anyone else had this happen?

you have anything under the hood in the way? cai or maf-t? the way i had my maf-t originally installed, it was lying right under the driver's side hood shock. wouldn't close. check that stuff out first.

this happened to me. the pivet point on the hinge was overtightened. try to loosen it a little bit and see if that works.

there are these rubber things that stick up on the front under your hood, rotate them and they lower or raise

This happened to my Optra that I had last year!!! I put washer fluid in and when I shut the hood I thought it was closed but it wasn't and when I jumped on the highway the whole thing started to vibrate up and down. I pulled over and tried to pull on it to see if it would come up and nothing so I opened it and shut it again and it was still not latching all the way, I took it in to the dealer right away and they took the latch apart and fixed it in no time and it is all covered!!!
Hope it gets fixed real soon!!!
