Oil Life % DIC and new ECU problems

I recently swapped in a new ECU to use for tuning purposes. it reset my oil life to 0%. i have since changed my oil and want to reset the counter but i can't seem to. i followed the instructions in the manual and i can't seem to get it to reset to 100%. i also tried re-setting with the gas pedal which is something i found here via the search button. i am going to swap back to the old ECU to see if thats the problem but it doesn't really solve my problems because i will obviously be using the tuned ECU 99.99% of the time. anyone have suggestions or experienced similar situtation with a 2nd ECU??

Isnt a relearn require when replacing it,I thought it was.

Like I thought:

Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn
Important: The crankshaft position (CKP) system variation learn procedure is required when the following service procedures have been performed, regardless of whether DTC P0315 is set:

• Engine replacement

• Engine control module (ECM) replacement

• Crankshaft damper replacement

• Crankshaft replacement

• CKP sensor replacement

• Any engine repairs which disturb the crankshaft to CKP sensor relationship

I did that crap when swapping PCM's on my GTP, you either need a Tech II or a capable scan gauge (Aeroforce Interceptor will do it).
