Oil shooting out of PVC.!!!!

Ok so I was inspecting my gfs car it's a 08 cobalt LT. Cleaned throte body which needs a new one and it had a lot of oil in the air box or that plastic price that goes right above the tb. I was told I may need a new head any ideas what it could be???

I won't be much help here but only time I ever saw this is on my talon, breather was clogged and oil was coming out everywhere cause of pressure build up I'm the crank case

Nothing is clogged. But there must be somethjng wrong internally not quite sure what.?

Just found out my 06 cobalt lt is doing the same thing. Ive had a couple guys tell me its the piston rings

That is crank case pressure. When was the last time it was changed? Also milage?

Since ive had it its been changed at every 3000 miles or sooner and its sitting at right under 150,000 miles

Your thread title is rather misleading lol

This is normal for higher mileage. Just stay on top of your oil changes and make cleaning it out part of that routine.

If you have a PVC pipe on your car, take it off. PCV is positive crankcase ventilation. That's pretty normal. Put your **** back together and give Powell a call ;-)
