Oil usage/ oil leak problems

My 06' SS/SC with CAI and catback, has been using oil for some time now. I've figured it to be about 1/2 quart every 500 mi the only noticeable leak I've found is near the timing cover but it doesn't leak enough to make puddles or leave copious amounts of oil everywhere. Blow by is pretty normal. Does not seem excessive. Plugs all came out clean. Any thoughts??

How many miles? Have you done a compression test?

Your cylinders are going out and or something is leaking it into the blow by ALOT. My last car did that and went through like 7-8 quarts before an oil change!

Have you checked the plugs to see if they're wet after a drive?
