pull your gauge cluster and check behind the panel for this...

previous owners of my car decided to block off the check engine light to hide the 13 codes on the computer. There are two fuses under the hood in the fuse block for the fan, both fuses have to be good for the fans to operate correctly. The MAF is on the drivers side lower on the intake pipe closer to the fender well.

Punctuation. Use it.

From what I can decipher, you're asking like 3 different things.

Your check engine light should be over to the left, near the speedo. Directly to the left of the ebrake light.

225 isn't that hot for these cars while sitting in traffic. Fans kick on at 230, if I recall right. If you're really concerned that can be changed with a custom tune using HPTuners.

The intake has a MAF sensor. It's down near the bottom by the filter.

226* is the activation temp for the fans, you probably need a thermostat if its never been changed before, these tstats are known for failure on these cars.

That's perfectly normal for driving. And creeping up to 220 is just fine for idle, as long as it drops down again when you get moving. Sounds like no problems there.

Dexcool. Just check the bottle and see if you're buying premixed or if you will need to mix it with distilled water 50/50, most stores will carry both kinds.

take it to autozone and have them scan it or do the key thing to bring up codes on the dash. If there is a code then you know for sure the light it covered up.

This thread is a good thread for car buyers.

Always hook a scanner up to the car you buy before purchase. Read the car for codes.
