One Lighter Not Working

My top lighter socket is not working, though my lower one is. I replaced the entire socket and checked that the cables looked okay going into it, though don't see any issues. Both sockets appear to be on the same fuse, so I doubt that is my issue. Any suggestions of what to look for or what to check?

That is weird if both are on the same fuse and one works and the other doesn't

I ran into the same problem about a month ago. Top one quit working when running an air compressor (using it to set the bead on motorcycle tires). I haven't had a chance to chase it down yet.

Just fixed mine. Engine bay fuse box. It was one of the 15amps that blew.
